Most animals in the San Diego Zoo live in a replica of their natural habitat.
These habitats also contain the habitat’s typical plants which makes the animal ‘comfortable at home’. The habitats range from the African rain forest to the Tundra and the Boreal forests. For the visiting birds of many species, the San Diego Zoo also has one of the largest and well-maintained aviaries. The San Diego Zoo is also a part of the San Diego Wild Animal Park, where the animals find more living space than the San Diego Zoo provides.
History Of San Diego Zoo
