Balboa Park, San Diego, California
Balboa Park is an urban cultural park of 1,200 acres (4.9 km) in San Diego, California, United States; and is named after the Spanish explorer Vasco Núñez de Balboa. Balboa Park (San Diego) is the largest urban park of United States and is located in a reserve since 1835, and is also one of the oldest in the United States dedicated to public recreational use.
In addition to open space and natural vegetation, Balboa Park contains a variety of cultural attractions. These well known Balboa Park attractions including museums, theaters, gardens, shops and restaurants as well as the world famous San Diego Zoo.
